The bad news is that in my opinion, out of one hundred people who step into the world of wealth creation and pursuing their dreams only three people get to the finish line, while 97% fail. I always ask myself what can be the explanation for this? Most people say it's not fair that the majority of people don't get to live their dreams and end up living in servitude to those very few who know the secret to success. Many people have been blessed by working in the business world, and seeing who is successful and who is not. These fortunate people are able to deduce what make one person financially successful and the other not.
There are many problems and obstacles that business people have that can be overcome with a mentor. Unsuccessful people try to do everything themselves. Why do unsuccessful people spend the time to change oil or make landing pages or websites themselves, when they can find others who are more skilled to do these tasks?
I have heard answers like, by the time I explain to a virtual assistant what I need them to do, I could have done it myself, and now I have to pay them after I do all the work to explain to them what to do. Somehow people think it is foolish to pay others who perform services that that the individual needs done, especially if the person knows how to do the work. When first starting out to use outsourced labor or an assistant some people find it to be a headache. They forget the benefit of hiring help is to have more time to put into sales or whatever part of their business needs their attention.
My answer is does Donald Trump make web sites? Does he build buildings? Of course he does not do these things. Donald Trump runs an empire, and he could not, if he didn't realize the value of hiring others to do the work. I have worked with students who understand this principle and have used the principle of outsourcing in their real estate investing and online business. While it is obvious big companies understand the value of having employees or sub-contractors who assist them to accomplish their goals, most small businesses and especially home based businesses do not understand these concepts. Many home based business owners are used to being the worker, and not the employer, so the idea of having employees or sub-contractors is foreign to them.
Mentors can help you understand the concept of outsourcing as a time saving, cost effective method of managing your business as well as many other aspects of business. Finding the right internet Mentor to assist you in your internet business is crucial to a successful relationship. Look for someone who is already successful, someone who understand the type of product or service you provide and someone who will take the time necessary to help you. Remember, a mentor isn't someone who is going to do the work for you, but they will help you to understand what work needs to be done and how to find someone else to get the work done.
Understanding outsourcing is only one concept that successful people employ constantly to get their work done, and to assist them in becoming even more successful. What other secrets do successful people use? Find a successful person, and begin to look at how they do business, you can only learn!
