What is the best way to keep track of your goals are specially if you have lots of different things you're trying to achieve more or less at the same time?
Some people would say it's best to only do one thing at a time. On the other hand when you have several things that you want to achieve which may not be directly related to each other, it can be really effective to work towards each of your goals are a short amount of time during each day.
However doing that may make you feel rather confused about which goal you're actually working on and how far along the road to achieving it you've managed to be.
One way to keep track is to use mind mapping. This also helps in planning how you're going to achieve your goals. You have to start with what you want to achieve in the centre of a piece of paper or in the centre of a computer-generated programme, and from your central goal draw connections which may be the different steps you need to achieve on the way to getting to your major goal.
This gives you a pictorial representation of the track you need to follow to reach your goals. As a complete each part of the mind map you could make it into a different colour for example all mark the different stages in some way so that you know that they're completed.
You could develop a mind map each of your goals and pin them on the wall new way you do the work. Then you could combine the major parts of your different mind maps into one document which is another mind map which illustrates how your various projects are related to each other.
On the other hand if you prefer a more linear way of working then the well-established to-do list which has all the jobs that you need to do in order to achieve your various goals on it, then you can just cross these out as you get them done.
Another way would be to write to the various stages that you'll need to go through on post-it notes and stick these somewhere near to where you are working. Then you can remove the post-it note as you achieve what's written on it.
Whichever method you choose a to keep track of your goals will be away to move forward step by step until you achieve all of them.
